Editing Priority for Work Queue items after loaded into Queue

Currently, In Blue Prism, Users can edit the Status for Queue items which are loaded already into the Queue.

Similarly, Blue Prism has to allow users to edit the Priority of the Work Queue Pending status items. This will help us to meet if urgent work has to be done for the Queue items.

basically, Priority can be modified even after loaded into the Queue.

Cheers!

Ah, so you want to do this directly from within Control Room. That wasn't clear to me from your original post. Since that would require an actual platform change, as opposed to the development of an asset/connector, there's a different ideation page that you'll want to submit your idea to. This page is specifically related to new connectors or updates to existing connectors (ex. the MS Excel VBO). The platform ideation page can be found here.

this is purely on BAU side, for example, if a user monitor a process, in the queue there will be lot of pending items. Some of the items needs to be processed urgently rest can sit for some time. Is it possible to update the priority for the urgent one directly in queue without using any action vbo?

Set priority can be implemented during development phase.

    Hi Eric,

I am expecting to edit priority directly in the queue. Not via some process.

Process controller needs to process some cases urgently. In this case, they need to change the priority directly in queue not via using any action objects.

Have you reviewed the Set Priority action available on the Work Queue VBO? As long as you have the Item ID for a specific work queue item you can use that action to change the priority of an item.
